Our Team

Manager

Maggie Lyons has worked in the charity sector in North Somerset for over 20 years. She is able to relate to people in all walks of life and has a great deal of local knowledge.

Maggie's passions include horses, dogs and Kettle Crisps.

Administrator

Julia Williams joined KeySteps in 2013 after a varied working life including primary teaching and running a busy church office. As KeySteps Administrator Julia has developed a record-keeping system using an online software package to help track the progress and needs of our clients so we can assess the difference we are making to individual lives.

Julia spends her free time working on her allotment or playing tenor saxophone.

Brian was elected Liberal Democrat MP for Weston-super-Mare. He was re-elected in 2001. He is a patron of several local charities and his interests include health care, disabled people, small businesses and education.

Wendy Griggs' career has been in education, she worked as a Deputy Head in a secondary school before she retired. She is currently a governor of her local school and a district councillor.

Wendy has experience of working with young people and young adults, some of whom  have severe educational and social needs, and feels strongly that these vulnerable groups need the support of organisations like KeySteps to help them have a roof over their heads. Wendy works to support the charity in any way she can.

Trustee

June Morgan has been involved with many welfare organisations during her life, as worker or volunteer, especially those helping people down on their luck or struggling such as hostels, day-centres, rehab, benefits and housing. Now that she is retired she is delighted to join KeySteps as a trustee. Her hobbies include local history, church activities and knitting for the Mission to Seafarers when stuck indoors.
